Finest Plastering is a Birmingham studio specialising in one thing: decorative surfaces laid by hand. The person who quotes your job is the person who finishes it.
We took the long way round on purpose.
Venetian plastering is a trade you cannot rush into. The materials are unforgiving, the window to work them is short, and a mistake is not something you paint over — it comes back off the wall. So we learned it properly, on Italian systems, and we still work to those methods: thin coats, continuous passes, no joins, and a burnish that is earned rather than sprayed on.
What started as feature walls in Birmingham homes now includes restaurants, bars, hotels and full residential schemes across the country. The scale changed. The way the wall gets made did not.
We also teach it. Our training courses put other trades and complete beginners in front of a real board with real material, because there is no way to learn this from a video.

- If plaster is the wrong answer for your room, we will tell you and we will tell you why. We would rather lose a quote than leave a wall we are not proud of.

- A wall is finished in continuous passes. We do not stop mid‑wall for a break, because the join outlives the convenience.

- The number on the quote is the number on the invoice. Travel, materials and protection are in it, not added afterwards.
- Aftercare
- Written care instructions and a certificate of completion on handover. Call us in two years and you will get the same person.
