Questions

Asked often. Answered honestly.

How much does Venetian plastering cost?
It is priced by the square metre and it moves with the finish, the condition of the wall and access. A single feature wall in a home is a very different number to a hotel reception. We do not publish a rate because a rate without seeing the wall is a guess — we come out, measure, and give you a fixed written price, free of charge.
How long does a room take?
A typical feature wall is two to four days on site including preparation. A whole room is usually a week. Commercial work is programmed around your opening date, in writing.
Can you plaster over tiles, painted walls or plasterboard?
Yes to all three, with the right preparation and primer for each. Tiles are usually best handled with microcement. We will confirm on the visit what your wall needs.
Is it waterproof? Can it go in a bathroom or a shower?
Microcement is fully waterproof once sealed and is the correct choice for showers, wet rooms and floors. Lime finishes can go in a bathroom outside the direct spray zone with the right sealer.
Do you work outside Birmingham?
Yes. Most of our work is within an hour of the unit, but we travel nationwide for residential and commercial projects. Travel is quoted openly and included in the fixed price.
The next step

Send us a photograph of the wall.

It is the fastest start. A picture, the rough measurements and the room, and we will come back with an honest indication before we even visit.
