Genuine Italian lime, applied by hand and polished with the trowel. Specified by architects. Trusted on commercial and heritage work.
Decorative lime is the whole business. Nothing is skimmed, nothing is subcontracted, and the people on your wall do this and only this.
Imported from Italy by Zavorè. The tub says what is in it, and so can we.
Our work includes a Grade II* listed building, the highest grade of listing in the country.
Three boards, made for your wall, in your colour. Nothing is agreed until you have held them.
Itemised, agreed, and then left alone. It does not move after it is signed.
Our projects, photographed on the day they were finished.
The same shape on every job, so there are no surprises in the middle of it.
We talk, or we visit. The substrate and the use of the room decide the system, and we tell you which one before anything is priced.
A real panel in the real finish, made for your wall and left with you. You sign it off, or we make another.
Every part of the job on its own line, preparation to protection. No allowances, no extras, no movement once it is agreed.
Protection down before a tub is opened. Dust controlled. Each coat built and burnished to the sample. Clean-down at the end of every day.
We walk it with you, leave you the aftercare, and stay on the end of the phone. The wall carries on improving for years.
Marble dust in aged lime, burnished until it shines like stone. The finish most people mean by Venetian plaster.
Coarser marble in the mix, finished matt or with a low sheen. Forgiving on a long wall and better with age.
Thin, seamless and sealed. Over tiles, on floors, in wet rooms. The modern one.
Moroccan lime, polished with a stone and sealed with soap. One continuous surface, which is why it suits showers.
Brushed lime, chalky and cloudy, with almost no sheen. The softest of the six.
Real metal in a plaster binder. It tarnishes and patinates the way metal does. Bronze, brass, copper, iron.
We work across Sheffield, up on the hills in Nether Edge, Ranmoor, Broomhill and Dore, where the large Victorian stone villas and tall rooms are, and down in Kelham Island and the Cultural Industries Quarter, where the old cutlery works have become apartments, bars and studios. The Peak District starts at the city's edge, with stone cottages and farmhouse conversions in every direction.
In the Nether Edge and Ranmoor villas we work in lime. Kelham Island is brick, steel and modern board, where polished plaster and microcement sit well against the industrial fabric. In the Peak cottages, limewash and a soft Marmorino are the honest choice.
Everything about how we work — the samples, the fixed price, the six finishes — is on our main Venetian plastering page. This page is about Sheffield.
We cover the whole of Sheffield and the towns around it. If your address is not listed, ask anyway.
Photograph the wall, tell us roughly how big it is, and you will hear back within one working day.
If you need any help, feel free to get in touch. We are happy to answer anything about finishes, timings or price.
