How do you make a bathroom feel calm?
The client didn't want tiles. Not for the look of them, but for everything that comes with them: the grid, the grout, the cleaning.
We ran microcement across every surface as one continuous piece. Behind the bath, around the basin wall, up past the mirror. Nothing breaks. Nothing for the eye to count.
The taps come straight out of the plaster. The stone basin sits against it with nothing in between.
A bathroom should be the quietest room in the house, not the busiest.
